Michelle Sanchez
The newsletter is a day late because I was out of town at a pastor's retreat...fyi.

Last weekend we enjoyed having Michelle Sanchez with us, both in workshops and speaking on Sunday. She is working with Cedarbrook to help us develop a process for more intentional spiritual growth. Listen to her message here.

Jim Walker Returns from Congo (Part Two)
Jim Walker spent ten days in Congo last month training nurses and doctors life-saving techniques. Click here to read his second installment of his trip. If you are supporting a child in Congo through World Vision, you'll be especially interested to hear his comments.

New Testament Challenge Continues
I've really enjoyed sending out the daily email for the New Testament challenge because people are writing me back with questions! I include the question with my answer in the next day's email. People seem to be learning a lot. ( Here's the daily email I sent out today)

BTW...there are still New Testaments available for purchase at the information counter.

This Sunday I'll be giving us an overview of four of Paul's earliest letters to churches. I hope you can be there!

Remy

p.s. I'm very excited that our previous associate pastor, Sten Carlson, will be offering his first preview service for MidCurrent Church in Hudson this Sunday at the YMCA Camp St. Croix at 10:00 a.m.

Hurricane Harvey Relief
Sign up for a trip this winter

Cedarbrook Church will be partnering with Samaritan's Purse to help with the
cleanup of Hurrica
ne Harvey in the state of Texas during the winter and spring of 2018.

Groups will consist of a maximum of 15 people, ages 14 and up. We will try and schedule one of the trip s during spring break so that college and high school students will have an opportunity to serve.

The cost will be $500 per person, which covers travel costs to and from the city we will be assigned to work in. We are hoping to help the people on the coast in the cities of Rockport and Portland.

If you have an interest in being a part of these future mission trips, please email Diane Colson.  You will be emailed information as updates occur.
