Timberline Students Win Essay Competition: Fourteen Timberline High School students have been selected as winners in the 2018 Ayn Rand Anthem Essay Competition. They are finalists Lucas King and Mason McAbee and semifinaists Rachel Compton, Nicole Donald, Sophie McKay, Ellen Min, Victoria Mort, Kathryn Pierson, Noah Ricks, Lewsi Roek, Victoria Sabus, Mason Slaughter, Madison Thomas and Sage Warner. Finalists eceive $50 prizes and semifinalists, $30 prizes. The Timberline winners were selected from more than 300,000 entries nationwide., All students were in David Archibald-Seiffer's and Taryn Waddell's Accelerated English classes.
