Company Spotlight
This month we're featuring Aerotech: Since its founding in 1970, Aerotech has been dedicated to designing and manufacturing the most innovative and sought after motion control products for industrial and research customers around the world. The company's motion products are used to develop, test, and manufacture high-technology products including smartphones, lightning-fast computer processors, high-end electronics, and breakthrough medical devices, as well as in the exciting fields of scientific research and development. Aerotech values hard work, dedication, and imagination and has never laid off an employee.
Anthony Meledandri

Ron and Debbie Meledandri have chosen to honor the memory of their son, Anthony, with a generous donation to New Century Careers. Anthony successfully completed the M2K program at NCC in 2015. He was placed at Kurt J. Lesker, where he was an exemplary employee. We proudly remember Anthony with one of his CNC projects pictured here.

New Century Careers is truly grateful that Mr. and Mrs. Meledandri are helping others train for manufacturing careers. If you would like to join Anthony's family, NCC welcomes tax-deductible donations of any amount online or by mail.

NCC Hosts Apprentice Competition

The Pittsburgh Chapter NTMA/ MSC Apprenticeship Competition was held on March 3 at NCC's Training Innovation Center. The participants were tested for their hands-on performance in setting up and operating machine tools such as lathes and mills, as well as a written examination to assess content knowledge. A point system based on knowledge, skill and efficiency determined the winner. The competition was open to all trainees of the Pittsburgh Chapter NTMA Apprenticeship program and the winner will be announced at graduation this year.
