Update
Featured Company:

In business for 19 years, Reynold's Machine Company  started out in a two-car garage with one Bridgeport style milling machine. Delivering high quality parts in a timely manner at a reasonable price has been the company's focus from day one.

Currently, Reynold's utilizes 5 CNC mills, 2 CNC lathes, 1 CNC saw, 2 CMM’s, and recently added a water jet cutting machine. All equipment is housed in their 8,250 square foot climate-controlled facility.

Through the years, Reynold's has developed an extensive network of like-minded strategic partners, making it a one-stop shop for everything from finishes to part marking and screen printing. The company's current customer base includes small businesses that produce automation machines, as well as large businesses in nuclear and military areas. Leadership attributes the slow and steady growth to its attention to detail and customer service oriented policies.

New Century Careers thanks Reynold's Machine Company for its support.

M2K Student Spotlight
Derek started the machinist training program while in the Allegheny County Jail hoping to learn a trade that would lead to a job. The training piqued his interest, and he learned training could continue after he was released. Shortly after starting training at NCC’s South Side location, Derek attended four interviews for machinist positions, with each company offering a better wage than the last. Derek accepted a machinist position at a local company that paid $15.00 per hour. Here's what he had to say:

“The M2K program helped me get the building blocks for a future in machining, and offered me the tools I needed to find employment.”

New Century Careers appreciates generous donation
NCC's Training Innovation Center received a donation of a wide variety of shop tools, supplies, and hand tools from the family of Mark Pelo, MFG Manager for Plasma at Haemonetics Corporation.

Mark is a third generation metalworker. His family has an extensive background and history within the precision metalworking industry.

“When my father passed away last year, my mother and my siblings wondered what would happen to all his tools and equipment" Mark said " We wanted to donate these items to a school that would make use of the items by teaching the next generation of machinists, grinders, and tool and die makers. New Century Careers was an obvious choice for the donation and supported my mother’s wishes to help new students enter this field.”

The entire NCC team is honored to receive this generous gift and would like to thank Steve and Fay Pelo and their family.
