Update
Featured Company:
Schroeder Industries is a leader in fluid conditioning technology. With more than 65 years of filtration experience, Schroeder designs, manufactures and markets innovative filtration solutions for hydraulic, lubrication, fuel, and process systems.

Schroeder was one of the first to identify the need for fine micronic filtration in hydraulic systems and was a pioneer in the development of many filtration concepts and products. Before the idea of fine micronic filtration was even mentioned in many engineering textbooks, Schroeder had set performance standards for this type of contamination control in many markets such as mining, mobile equipment, and automotive manufacturing.

For more than half a century, Schroeder Industries’ innovative efforts to develop value-engineered products have been recognized with 33 patent awards. Nine of those have been issued in the past four years, indicating that Schroeder remains at the forefront in the fields of fluid conditioning, diagnostics, and specialized energy products.

New Century Careers thanks Schroeder Industries for its continuous support.

Brass and aluminum pens created on a lathe made by two NCC students, Peter & Dan
M2K Student Spotlight
Peter attended Avonworth High School before spending two and a half years at California University of PA, where he studied robotics, marketing, and jewelry-making before deciding that none of those fields were the right fit for him. Motivated to learn skills in a new trade, he read an article about MANUFACTURING 2000 and decided to join the program in October 2016. “A lot of this is what I did in college,” he said, “but this is a more hands-on application.” Peter was hired in March as a CNC Machinist at a local manufacturer. By September, he had gained so much experience that his employer selected him to train another M2K graduate who was hired at the same company.
