M2K Student Spotlight:
Patrick was recently unemployed, but had previous manufacturing experience. He was drawn to the M2K program and joined in July. He said he “winged it” with metrology at his last job, but at NCC he learned to accurately measure his work and properly utilize the industrial machines to produce precision parts. NCC provided him with the skills he needed.

In early November, Patrick accepted a position as a CNC machinist with a small design and prototyping shop, where he'll work in programming and machining of prototype parts for businesses across Pittsburgh. He looks forward to building these skills in his new position and hopes to advance into management.
