Dr. Barrett Baebler, department chair and associate professor, has been named a "Hero in Education" by St. Louis Small Business Monthly for his contributions to entrepreneurial education.  During his tenure at Webster University, he has been instrumental in developing programs in this important area.  Find out more.

Lesley Hoffarth, president and executive director of Forest Park Forever and former project director for the Missouri Department of Transportation (MODOT), is blazing a trail for women leaders. In addition to managing the design/build of I-64, the single largest construction project for MODOT to-date, she is leading the way in renewing and improving one of the region's most cherished parks. In recognition of her achievements, the Walker School is proud to honor Lesley Hoffarth as our 2014 Woman of Influence.  RSVP to join us at this free event.

April 11-12 - SPICE'ing UP Business Strategy with Chess Seminar   
Strengthen your strategic thinking skills at this two-day business seminar presented by Chess Grandmaster Susan Polgar and Professor of Strategy Dr. Doug O'Bannon.  Undergraduate and graduate students will earn one-credit hour for MNGT 3100/ MNGT 5500 (section 04).  Non-degree seeking students will receive a Dean's Certificate of Completion.  Learn more and register for this seminar.
