Hiding Place! 4/3/16
Psalm 27:5 (KJV)
5 For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.
EVERYBODY needs a "HIDING PLACE!"
A PLACE where one can feel safe and secure.
A PLACE where one can safely remove the clinking Armour-have you ever attempted to sleep while fully clad in the Armour of God referred to in Ephesians 6???

13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
Can you imagine the danger David faced when running from the entire army of King Saul?
BUT he, as well as WE, must sleep!

Psalm 91:1 (KJV)
1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I have a certain position in my bed where I OFTEN turn to-I call it my "SECRET PLACE!"
It is THERE, in my SECRET PLACE, where no harm can come to me!
It is THERE, where only God and I CO-EXIST!
It is HERE where He dwells and I "ABIDE under the shadow of the Almighty."
Did not our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, command us:
John 15:4 (KJV)
4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
Did HE not say, "WITHOUT ME YE CAN DO NOTHING"!!??
John 15:5 (KJV)
5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
Did not the mighty Apostle Paul exhort us:
Philippians 4:13 (KJV)
13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
EVERYBODY needs a "HIDING PLACE!"
Even as little children, did WE not erect tents of sheet and build forts of stubble outside?
I DID!!
TODAY, if YOU find YOURSELF in a "time of trouble," erect a TENT OF GLORY and dwell therein!

4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
It is THERE you will be safe from any storm!!!!
Psalm 119:114 (KJV)
114 Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word.
