"Before the Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP) I had no motivation for anything," Kathryn Mackenzie, RAP graduate, told the crowd at the RAP celebration.
"It's hard to apply yourself when you don’t even know why you are doing it." Kathryn says the RAP program gave her a future to work towards, making her excited to do her best every day.
"Now, as an 18-year-old student, I can confidently say I have aspirations. I want to further my education, so I’m going back to SAIT in March. I want to become a skilled painter, I’m working as a second-year apprentice."
