world. This course will introduce you to Microsoft
Office and its applications. You will learn about each
of the applications and their functions, how to navigate
the interface, how to perform basic tasks, and
much more. This course is best for those who have
had limited or no prior experience using Microsoft
Office.

Microsoft Word
Whether you need a professional-looking document  for work or personal use, Microsoft Word helps you  create it. This comprehensive course teaches basic  to advanced skills of the program starting with  formatting, copying/cutting and pasting, setting  margins, and using tabs. You will advance to topics  such as pagination, headers and footers, columns,  tables, and pictures. References, footnotes, bookmarks,  Word styles and other advanced topics are
covered. By the end of the course, you will have a high level of proficiency with this essential program. Prerequisite: PCW 02 or proficiency with navigating a Windows computer, and have basic experience using Microsoft Word; please complete online

Microsoft Outlook

Using this e-mail and personal information software,  you will learn how to read, create, and send e-mail  messages and manage messages and their attachments.  Also covered are how to create appointments  and schedule meetings, work with contacts  and contact groups, manage address books, customize  messages and signatures, and set up automatic  replies.

Microsoft Excel

Microsoft Excel is a spreadsheet program with multiple  uses. Excel is a must for accountants, office  workers, and marketing managers. Personal uses  include budgeting and data tracking. You will start  by learning how to create, format, edit, and manipulate  worksheets. At the next level you will use  formulas, functions, and create tables and charts.  Advanced-level topics covered are PivotTables,  what-if analysis, and VLOOKUP. Upon completion  of the two parts, you will have the knowledge and  experience to fully use this powerful and versatile  program. Please bring a fl ash drive to the first  session.
