Help for Hurricane Victims in Puerto Rico and the Islands: There will be information sheets and envelopes on your chair to help support hurricane victims in Puerto Rico and the Islands. We are partnering with IsraAid , an Israeli humanitarian organization, to ensure the funding we provide goes directly to the victims in the most need. IsraAid has a network of volunteers all over the world who deploy to natural disaster areas and they are currently providing search and rescue operations, setting up water filtration systems, and providing psychological support throughout impacted regions.
For more information on IsraAid's work, contact Samantha Joseph, who is helping coordinate the project.

Yom Kippur Afternoon Presentation
& Discussion at 1:00 PM

Please join us for a character study and discussion of three contemporary people whose lives have shaped our current history; people who stood up with courage for what is right and who embodied the essence of Tikkun Olam.

Did you know that...?

  • Hana Senesh…was a native of Budapest, Hungary, who made aliyah to British Mandatory Palestine in 1939
  • Daniel Pearl…put himself in harm’s way to inform the world of turbulent events

  • Rabbi Regina Jonas…saw life as a journey of faith and service to people

Listen, Learn, Share your thoughts, and
join the discussion on Yom Kippur afternoon .
