Whether you need Student Guides in a few weeks, for your May classes, or next fall, place your order online to tell us when you want your materials delivered. You will receive an email notification when your request has been shipped.

We can customize your order to meet your needs:

Do you want the Instructor Starter Kit now and the Student Guides next fall?

  • Place separate orders to request different shipping dates.

Are you concerned that a shipment might arrive when your school or office is closed during spring break or summer vacation?

  • As you place your order, let us know when NOT to delivery of your order.

Do shipments sometimes get misplaced after arriving at your work place?

  • Request that the order be shipped to an alternate address. (Keep in mind that we only ship to physical street addresses and not to P.O. boxes.)

A special note for our community volunteers and sponsors:

Be sure to tell us the school or organization where you will co-teach or volunteer to prevent delays in shipping. If you can't find the name on the dropdown list as you are placing an order, follow the prompt on the screen to request that the name be added to the list.

Each Student Lesson Plan includes a suggested "Taking it Home" bonus activity that encourages the students to share or apply at home what they have learned in class.

Examples:

Lesson 1-1: Money Habits

How do your spending and money values compare to your family's values? Use the Values Survey Activity to interview a family member. Compare that person's responses to yours.

In what ways do you share the same spending and money values? In what ways are you two different? How can this information help you both better understand where the other is coming from when it comes to spending money?

Lesson 3-4: Lifestyle

Interview a family member or close adult to ask the following questions:

1. What do you do for a living and why did you choose this career (or job)?

2. If you could do this same job somewhere else, where would you go? Why?

3. If you could stay here and do a different job, what would you do? Why?

4. What advice would you give someone just starting the path to a first career?
