APRIL 2015
eVistas - Solano Land Trust
I don't know about you, but after the last two dry seasons I'm enjoying this spring more than ever. Our local farms are seeded and sprouting, our hills are green and dotted with wildflowers, and the special creatures at Jepson Prairie seem to be thriving. Haven't seen them yet? Click here to see a list of our tours.

Thanks to your support, we have some fun things planned for you this spring. I hope to see you at one of our upcoming events. Take it outside Solano County!

Ranching and farming are vital ...

Hey Solano County, get outside!
Solano RCD
Less screen time, more joy

If you're a young parent who has been wanting to get your kids started on a healthy lifestyle but don't know where to begin, you can kick start your intentions during Take it Outside California, an annual event that takes place this year on April 30 and May 1.

Take it Outside California is a weekend for all Californians--that's you!--to get outside with friends and family and enjoy the land that you have helped to conserve.

Take it Outside California, a project of the California Council of Land Trusts, reminds us that we are part of a larger movement of people choosing healthy lifestyles for our ourselves and our families.
