Events In the Community Community

Do you know people with teens?  Invite them to the only high school conference of it's kind in North America - the Club Z Conference on Israel and Middle East, taking place in Silicon Valley on January 13*-15, 2018! The conference specifically focuses on Zionism, Arab-Israeli conflict as presented on college campus, thus preparing them for college before they get there.

ANY Jewish college student will tell you that knowing the facts about Israel is a top priority on campus! CAMERA, SSI, Hasbarah Fellowships and other leading campus groups will be leading hands on workshops and seminars and participants will walk away with skills and understanding of the Jewish story and be inspired to be proud Zionists!

Village House will be providing shelter to 15 women at Temple Emanu-El from December 6, 2017 until January 3, 2018. Temple Emanu-El is seeking volunteers to help . PLEASE NOTE: Temple Emanu-El requires that ALL Tier 1 volunteers refresh their background checks through the Temple. This applies to Intake & Overnight Volunteers. Please complete and return both Protect My Ministry documents which can be found on the Temple's website at https://templesanjose.org/VillageHouse. The cost of background checks will be covered by the Temple. All other volunteers will be verified against the Megan's Law website (Tier 2).
