Parlor Concert: Armand Lenchek: 3/25
Join the Hillsborough Arts Council for local music in an intimate setting at their first Parlor Concert of the year featuring Armand Lenchek on lead vocals and guitar, Carter Minor on harmonica and vocals and F.J. Ventre on vocals and bass. Experience a wonderful musical afternoon on March 25 at 4 pm at the home of Diff and Bill Whitmore in historic downtown Hillsborough. Tickets are $18 in advance and $20 at the door, if available. A reception is included in the ticket price. Learn more and buy tickets here .
Join the HAC Hospitality Committee!
Meet new friends and give back to the community by joining our hospitality committee. Join other volunteers in the occasional donation and serving of prepared food and beverage and setting up and cleaning up at events like Parlor Concerts, fundraising events and our Hillsborough Art Walk Last Fridays receptions. If you are interested in joining the Hospitality Committee and getting started by helping with our March 25 Parlor Concert,

Hillsborough Art Walk Last Fridays: 3/30
Art Walk Last Fridays showcases the talents of local artists in walkable historic Hillsborough. Park once and enjoy art galleries, artist studios, boutiques and award-winning restaurants. Many Hillsborough Last Fridays Art Walk venues will have opening receptions from 6 to 9 pm.

The Hillsborough Arts Council Gallery and Gift Shop   at 102 North Churton Street presents “Reveries and Realities: The Cosmic Lilt” featuring paintings by Heather Gerni.
The Hillsborough Gallery of Arts   at 121 North Churton Street presents “Rock-Paper-Scissors” featuring jewelry by Arianna Bara, sculpture by Lynn Wartski, and fiber art by Ali Givens.
The Hillsborough/Orange County Chamber of Commerce   at 121 North Churton Street, Ste. 1C, presents “Celebrating Our Earth” featuring paintings by Karin Neuvirth and Sharon Barnes.
The Hillsborough Artists Cooperative and The Skylight Gallery   at 102 West King Street present   “Root Bound” featuring mixed media by Ida Trisolini as well as art by studio artists Jayne Boomberg, Tom Guthrie, Jennifer E. Miller, Andrea DeGette, Mame Cotter and Jacquelin Liggins.
Thomas Stevens Gallery   at 126 West King Street presents “The Prints and Drawings Show” featuring digital prints and figurative drawings by Thomas Stevens.
ENO Gallery at 100 South Churton St. presents new paintings by Nancy Tuttle May.
Margaret Lane Gallery   at 121 West Margaret Lane presents “River in Time: Paintings by Rodney Beecher Roberts”.
K’s Closet   at 200 North Churton Street presents “ Adding Character to Your Space” featuring stained glass by Beverly Currence.

Art in the Heart of Hillsborough: 4/21
Support local artists and help the Hillsborough Arts Council celebrate the 10th year of this juried art show offering original artwork and quality handcrafted items.

Art vendors, live music, beer, mead, cider and food trucks will be on hand Saturday, April 21, 9 am to 4 pm, on the lawn at the Hillsborough Visitors Center, 150 East King St. (rain date: April 22). For more information including maps, go here .
Last Fridays Concert Series Returns: 4/27
Our free concert series on the historic courthouse lawn returns next month with Johnny White and the Elite Band! Join us for six evenings of music and so much more including: artists, food vendors, craftspeople, and nonprofits on the lawn and King Street, and Hillsborough Art Walk Last Fridays in galleries and businesses on adjacent streets.
