Dr. Judith Beck and Dr. Aaron Beck with Marty Moss-Coane of WHYY
We thought you might like to see a recent article from the Philadelphia Inquirer about an event the Beck Institute held on November 7th. Following a gala reception, my father and I had a public conversation period, moderated by
Marty Moss-Coane, Host & Executive Producer of WHYY's Radio Times. There was an excited buzz all evening and it felt quite historic, as my dad - still at the top of his game - traced his history in developing cognitive therapy.

We'd like to thank our patrons, guests, and donors who supported this event which will make it possible for us to continue offering a sliding scale for patients at our Center for Psychotherapy and to increase the number of scholarships for graduate students and mental health professionals at our Center for Training. It was just wonderful reuniting with so many colleagues and friends and meeting new people who are interested in CBT.

Whether or not you attended the event, we'd like to ask your help in furthering our non-profit mission of dissemination. Could you encourage both professionals and the general public to visit our website? There is a lot of information about CBT for professionals and consumers, including descriptions of our varied training programs and our clinic. With your help, we can encourage the growth of cognitive behavior therapy throughout the world.
