Happy Monday Morning!
I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend! As a reminder, Event Sponsorship forms were mailed out to our Members in October. Sponsoring a community event means exposure for your business to a large crowd of visitors and publicizes your business as being community minded. We ask that you return these forms to us by December 6th. If you have any questions, please contact Kate at 715-365-7460. Keep reading to find out what's happening this week in the Northwoods!

Artists of the Month
|
Diane's Frame Shoppe artists of the month for November are Roz Schuettpelz and Bill Kingsbury. Bill retired in the northwoods ten years ago in which he enjoys nature and all it has to offer, especially the beautiful trees. Bill has enjoyed woodworking since high school and realized that a lot of the real beauty, grain, color, texture and feel of the wood is on the inside of the tree and a way to expose that beauty was through wood turning. Roz Schuettpelz has lived in Rhinelander for 27 years. She taught high school art for 16 of those years, and prior to that, taught Family & Consumer Ed at the junior high for 10 years. Making art quilts is a perfect marriage for her, between the art and the home economics. Roz hand sews, on her lap, almost every day. The hours she has spent creating quilts is countless! Meet and greets for both artists will be held at Diane's Frame Shoppe on November 12 from 5 to 7 pm. |
