Hello Commuters!

 

Welcome to March. The month of no days off (boo!!) but it's time to register for next semester! Here is the schedule for when you can register:  

 

Graduate students - March 7 

Seniors (90 credits +) - March 7

Juniors (60 credits +) - March 14

Sophomores (30 credits +) -  March 21

Freshmen (29 credits or less) -  March 28

 

Just a friendly commuter reminder to consider parking and traffic when planning out your schedule.  Check out the courses being offered and start getting ready!

Yellow Light - You Decide

*Part of P.R.I.D.E. Week*

At this session, we will discuss respect for others when driving or parking around your community and campus. We will invite local law enforcement officials and public safety to discuss the rules and regulations of driving and parking. Additionally, there will be a light breakfast served.

Spring Cleaning with Meaning

March 1st - 25th 

Office of Student Leadership and Activities will be hosting a Clothing Drive this Spring to donate to the Big Brother Big Sister Organization. We ask that student donate Spring and Summer clothing. The Spring season is always a time for people to enjoy the weather and come outside. Please donate your clean gently used or new Spring or Summer clothing.

You will also get a chance to talk with specialists from The Career Center, Hofstra Graduate Admissions, Hofstra liberal arts internships, Pre-Law advising, and Pre-Health advising. Bring a current copy of your Degree Audit Report and enjoy some pizza and soda!

The Division of Student Affairs is sponsoring the first Hofstra P.R.I.D.E. Week, March 7-11, as we strive to promote our P.R.I.D.E. Principles and encourage our students to graduate with P.R.I.D.E.:
