Want to know the latest?

If you like to read the newest titles but are not sure how to find them, sign up for Wowbrary. Wowbrary is a program that sends a free email every Wednesday announcing the latest books, movies, DVDs and CDs that we have ordered.

Just enter your Zip Code and then select the Rockport Public Library and input your email address. Next week you will receive the listing of incoming items.

When you see a title you would like to borrow, clicking on the title will take you to the database where you can place a request. You don't have to wait until the item is on the shelves to ask for it!

When the item has been received, catalogued, and checked in, it will go to the first person on the Holds list.
Emerson's Essays Seminar
The newest of our discussion groups, the Emerson seminar will meet on Monday, Sept. 12, at 3:00 p.m. in the Trustees Room. They will discuss the  "Method of Nature" oration--a talk Emerson delivered at Waterville College, Maine, on August 11, 1841.
Copies are available online or in a printed anthology available at the library's main desk.

WHICH CRAFT? CIRCLE
De-stress with your favorite needlecraft: knitting, crochet, quilting, embroidery, etc.
Start a new project for holiday giving or bring along one you've been meaning to finish for a long time!
Group will meet in the Trustees Room on Sept. 12 & 26 at 11 a.m. and we'll save a seat for you!

You still have time to answer

Our Long-range Planning Committee is reviewing the responses to the library survey so that we can prepare a plan of service for the next 3-5 years. If you have not had an opportunity to share your comments through the survey. Please take a few minutes to do so by clicking here.
