Greetings!

We want to wish everyone a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving this week.  We are so thankful for each and every one of our Cooking For Fun! acquaintances.  Make sure to take a moment for yourself and reflect what you are thankful for in this busy holiday season.

We are drawing for a Gingerbread House Decorating Workshop Certificate this Saturday. This week wraps up our "Thanksgiving" themed classes and then we are on to more Holiday Cooking classes, workshops and camps.  Join us for Holiday Cookies & Candy Workshops, Holiday Gingerbread Decorating Workshops, Holiday Cookie Pops Workshops, as well as our New Years Eve Popcorn Cake Workshops.  Make sure to keep up to date on all the classes we have to offer.  We have been adding additional classes weekly.

This week we want to take a moment to introduce you to two of our new Cooking For Fun! instructors.  First, we want to welcome Charity Kauder.  Charity is the owner of CNC Foods and has worked and lived in the food service industry for over 20 years.  She has participated in the farmer's markets and her philosophy on food is fresh, local and seasonal to the best of her ability as well as supporting the local farmers and businesses.  Charity currently has on the Cooking For Fun! schedule fresh baked FOCACCIA as well as family friendly CURRY cooking workshops.

Rebeckah Gatlin-Shurrum is an experienced cook that has a passion for fresh well-seasoned delicious food.  She has 5 children that she home-schools and cooks for daily.  She grew up in Hawaii and California and has lived in the South for many years.  She regularly cooks Asian, Mexican, Italian, Southern, Lo-Carb, soups, stews and vegetarian.  She is looking to share her tips on how to make homemade meals in this fast paced world.  Rebeckah currently has a workshop scheduled on Saturday Nov 26th - Delicious Thanksgiving Leftovers. Welcome Rebeckah! Just a reminder that we do close our registrations two days prior to the event so our instructors are able to make all the necessary preparations.  If you are interested in registering for an event make sure to register early as classes do fill up and space is limited.
