Bluegrass Night at Kentucky Opry

Featuring The Cope Brothers, Nick Collier and Tim Dishman were at the KY Opry in July.  They will be back for our December Bluegrass Night and we are happy to have Carolyn's brother, Raymond Klassen, with us for this show.  The band will consist of Tim, Nick, Raymond, Justin McKendree, Carolyn McKendree and myself.  Tim has suggested that we call this group The Carolyn Unit.  Call the group whatever you want to, but I think we'll all be able to call it a very fun night of music on December 2nd!
Clay Campbell will be bringing Dailey and Vincent back to the Kentucky Opry on January 5th, 2017.  Get your tickets soon because this show will likely sell out! 7:30pm.

57th annual Christmas Parade
Calvert City, KY 
Calvert City Christmas Parade, Tree Lighting & Fun in the Park.  The Calvert City Lions' Club and the City of Calvert City invite you to our 57th annual Christmas Parade on Dec. 3 at 5:15 p.m. Parade line up is 4:15 p.m. at Pathway Baptist Church. The theme for this year is "Songs of Christmas". Best Representation of the theme and outstanding entries will be given. The Parade is the traditional kickoff for the Christmas Season in Calvert City, this will be the fifth year for the popular night time "lighted parade".
Businesses, churches, clubs, organizations and individuals are invited to participate with lighted vehicles. Of course the Marshall County High School Band and Middle School Bands will be there as well as Santa himself! Christmas Tree lighting program in Memorial Park follows the parade. Come share the Christmas spirit with free hot chocolate, hot dogs and popcorn. Come enjoy MCHS band and music program. This year children can visit Merry, the Christmas Fairy as well as Santa in the park after the parade.
