This Holiday Season, Remember our Community's Kids
The holidays are all about bringing people together. For many of us, the holidays are centered on showing loved ones we care and bringing joy to people we're closest with.
This year, we invite you to think about coming together not just with family and friends, but as a community, to help Golisano Children's Hospital at the University of Rochester Medical Center provide the best possible care to the more than 74,000 children and families we treat every year.

Pittsford Community Rallies for Good at Rainbow Classic
For more than a decade, Pittsford Mendon and Sutherland high schools have joined forces to raise more than $250,000 for Golisano Children's Hospital during one incredible event -- the Rainbow Classic. This year's event, set to begin at 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16, at the University of Rochester's Palestra Stadium, will help support one of Golisano Children's Hospital's pediatric priority areas -- the Eating Disorders Program. If you'd like to support this important fundraiser, please consider attending. For more information or to find out how to get tickets, call the Pittsford School Athletic Department at (585) 218-1062.

| Join Us in Preventing and Treating Eating Disorders
About 5 percent of adolescent girls and young adult females are diagnosed with eating disorders. Many more are suffering silently.
Hear the stories of Julie, Makenna and Margaret -- three local teens affected by eating disorders. We also invite you to watch a video with Dr. Richard Kreipe, professor of Adolescent Medicine at Golisano Children's Hospital, and the girls' families, who talk about the family-centered approach Golisano Children's Hospital takes when helping teens recover from eating disorders. To learn more about how your gift can help us enhance our program to better serve patients and their families, visit Eating Disorders section of our website. Thank you so much for considering making a gift.
On behalf of all the faculty and staff at Golisano Children's Hospital, we wish you and your loved ones all the best during the holiday season.
