Seventh graders at Dutchess Day School did some amazing work collecting gifts for Astor's Children this year! They purchased gifts, then wrapped and organized them for children in Astor's programs. After they delivering the gifts, they volunteered time to weed and prepare the children's garden for the winter, and topped it off by creating a sledding hill - just in time for the snow. We are sincerely grateful for this expression of giving from these generous kids!!
We had another wonderful evening at our Holiday Arts Festival Fundraiser at our Rhinebeck residence recently. An evening with delicious food and drink, a huge selection of raffles and our featured art show with works from our
Paint What You Feel program rounded out the evening. Special honorees of the Rose Logan Volunteer Service Award included
Dr. Virginia Sibbison and Arthur Schiff for their long time contributions to Astor. All of this was made possible with the help of the many staff, friends and family members who volunteered their time and creativity.It was a truly collaborative effort on everyone's part.
