Happy Holidays to All!
I wish peace and all good
for all of you throughout the holiday season and beyond!

We have had quite a year at Prairie. The growing challenges of healthcare delivery in a declining resource environment have been daunting, but I am very happy to report that, in spite of major shifts in the health care landscape, we continue to grow at Prairie while many other practices are shrinking.  I have to thank all of our Prairie colleagues for your commitment, hard work and caring over the past year.  We are humbled and happy to have the opportunity to serve and care for our patients and to continue our mission to provide state of the art high quality cardiovascular care.  In doing so, we are blessed.

May you enjoy the holiday season with family, friends and loved ones.

  Thank you very much,

HOLIDAY WEIGHT GAIN
M uch of the media reports that Americans average a weight gain ranging from 7-10 pounds during the holiday season.
In addition, self-report studies tell us that people believe that they gain 5 pounds or more over the holidays, but that does not necessarily mean that they do.
