There's still time to support families and seniors
in need through Holiday Hope
For many of us, the holiday season is accompanied by many lists - gifts to buy, cards to send out to loved ones, and family meals to prepare. But for families like Rachel's, the holiday season means something else - it means even more stress and anxiety about bills.
Rachel's family applied for help through Holiday Hope for the first time last year. As a single mom, Rachel was struggling to make ends meet, and she knew that without our help, her kids might not get a holiday meal, let alone any presents under the tree. But thanks to generous Holiday Hope donors, she was able to make a special meal for her family and they experienced something priceless - smiles and laughs filling their home as the kids opened their presents.
Our Holiday Hope program gives local families and seniors in need more than hope. It provides personalized gifts and a meal during the holidays. With your help, we can help make this holiday season a little better for a neighbor. And you can be assured that your donation will stay right here in the community - Holiday Hope serves households in the Stillwater Area School District.
Please make a donation today. You can give a neighbor in need HOPE this holiday season.
A reminder that the Senior Centers (Stillwater and Bayport) will be closed starting December 27 through Monday January 2. We will open on Tuesday, January 3 with all of our regularly scheduled programs.
The January and February issue of The Connector newsletter should arrive in mailboxes the end of December.
