Capitol Steps Benefit Raises $75K+
Capitol Steps The annual Capitol Steps Benefit, hosted by The Friends of UCM on Nov. 13, with a sold-out crowd, raised more than $75,000 to ensure the continued success of our most vulnerable children, youth, and families. Scouting For Food Collects 6+ Tons for UCM
The annual Scouting for Food drive on Nov. 12, was a community-wide Cub Scout success! An amazing 12,000+ pounds were donated by area residents; and collected, sorted and packed all in one day by a rea Boy Scouts and volunteers.  Cub Scout Steve Guch of Pack 658, a second grader at Belle View Elementary School, said  "I like Sco uting for Food because it helps the community and gives UCM a big boos t.  I felt good because I am helping the community. People need food to  survive, and we need to help people who cannot help themselves."
