Please welcome Patty Citrowske to our Quilt Connection Family. Patty moved to our area to be closer the family and we are delighted that we found each other. We now have two Pattys!

The Pfaff convention that I attended the first week of October was one of the best ever. There was so much information jammed into four days that we were all on overload. We took classes on the new Creative Icon and got to sew a fun project. Learned about the new software, which is amazing, and networked with other dealers from all over the country. It is always good to recharge the batteries and get renewed enthusiasm for the job. That being said, the new machines are in the shop and ready for you to take a look. November is going to be the perfect time to get a fantastic deal on all of the Husqvarna Viking and Pfaff machines. We will have sneak peeks and a huge blowout for Black Friday. Be sure to check it out.

Watch for New BOMs Beginning in January

Mystical Prism BOM -- Begins January 27th, 2018

Mystical Prism is designed by Toni Steere and Jenny Foltz of Wing and a Prayer. This is a Batik quilt that measures 102 inches square using a gorgeous purple and teal palette. Resembling a kaleidoscope, the Mystical Prism quilt uses traditional piecing with unusual fabric color combinations. Points are easily made with Creative Grids rulers or the paper template included with the pattern.

Please sign up soon so we know how many kits to cut. Cost is $21.95/month with first and last month due at sign up. Pattern is included with the first month's block. We will have a "tips" meeting the first month to get us off to a good start. You may choose to pick up your block on the 4th Saturday of each month or it can be sent to you. Beginning Paper Piecing Class -- November 15th, 9:30 am to 4:30 pm with Melissa Grote

This is the third in a series of Judy Niemeyer quilts and projects that will teach you the basics of paper piecing using Judy's techniques. November's class will be using the Wicker Basket Pattern. The pattern includes directions for a 17" x 40" table runner or a 40" x 52" quilt. A sample table runner can be seen in the shop. Cost is $25 plus supplies. Register at 605-355-0178.
