Free Photos with Santa
During Night of Lights


When: November 26

Where: PNC Downtown

 

Join us again this year for Night of Lights and free photos with Santa! Staged in front of the Santa and Reindeer Lighting Ceremony at PNC, free digital photos will be taken from 5:45 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Photos will be viewable on December 1st via our Facebook page.

 

Park, Shop, and Ride!

  

When: November 29

Where: Downtown Fort Wayne


This event takes place each year during HolidayFest in collaboration with Small Business Saturday promoting patrons across the country to shop local. It also falls on the Last Saturday of the month where there are many ways to Experience Art and Discover Downtown!
 

Angels Sing

Cocoa and Carols

Where: Allen County Courthouse

 

Join the Rebel, Concert, and Youth Chorale choirs at the Allen County Courthouse for caroling in the rotunda! Sip some cocoa and munch on a cookie as the ensembles kick off the Fort Wayne holiday season with familiar songs of the season.

Ringing of the Bells

Ring in the Holiday Season




When: November 26

Where: First Presbyterian Church


 
Stay tuned after the fireworks to hear the first annual Ringing of the Bells, coordinated by First Presbyterian Church, as nine of our local churches will chime in unison to ring in the start of Downtown's Holiday Season!

Festival of Gingerbread
New Creations for 2014

Where: The History Center


The Festival of Gingerbread, now in its 29th
year, attracts crowds who come to view the
creations of individuals of all ages, families and
professionals. Over 100 creations made of
edible materials by persons ranging in age from pre-schoolers to adults including professional chefs are featured.

30 Years of Holiday Cheer!

Where: Embassy Theatre


 Embassy Festival of Trees presents, "30 Years of Holiday Cheer!" Beginning with the Night of Lights, the Embassy Festival of Trees is a featured stop in the city's annual Downtown lighting ceremony.

Heartland Sings 
Handel's Messiah


When: December 7
Where: USF Robert Goldstein PAC

Fort Wayne / South Bend Diocese, University of Saint Francis, Heartland, and the Heartland Festival Chorus & Orchestra are proud to present the digital edition of Handel's Messiah They are icorporating projected visual art with a smartphone and tablet friendly concert!

Courtyard Wintergreens
Back by Popular Demand

 

 

When: Opens November 20

Where: 222 Pearl Street

 

They will have colorful branches, berried stems, evergreen boughs, garlands, wreaths, and cones for your home! They will be partnering with Utopian Coffee for some great coffee gifts. Regular hours will be Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 12 p.m. - 5 p.m.

Christmas on Broadway
Tree Lighting

 

When: November 21
 
Where: Broadway Plaza 


 

Join them for the lighting of the 35-foot blue spruce!
Festivities start at 5 p.m. with Santa, Mrs. Clause, a train, live reindeer, free cookies, and free hot chocolate!
The lighting is at 6 p.m. and wraps up at 7 p.m.
