So we have a lot going on lately. Last week, the OC Pride Float in the Long Beach Pride Parade and this week, Harvey Milk Day Celebration in honor of his birthday.
This month to date we've done outreach at Soka University's International Festival; promoted and attended as guest speakers at Laguna Playhouse's Youth reading of '8' The Play; decorated the OC Pride Float and danced in and around it in last weekend's Long Beach Pride Parade; and petitioned the OC Board of Supervisors to recognize Harvey Milk Day in the county. Our Third HMD is next on the agenda and looks like it will be a great success.
