The Captain of the Aleutian Ballad, a boat made famous on season 2 of The Deadliest Catch, will share his personal stories of a life spent fishing in the Bering Sea and beyond. An engaging speaker who has a deep love for Alaska, he will welcome questions and conversation about commercial fishing as well as the many opportunities and ways you can experience Alaska for yourself. Don’t miss this larger than life character as he shares his passionate tale of the life of a Bering Sea Crab Fisherman!

Skywatch Astronomy Program

Join us for a night of stargazing. Members of the NH Astronomical Society will show a short presentation about the night sky and then we'll venture out into the night and see what we can see.

Artist Reception: Linda Lea Bertrand Plein Air Paintings

LINDA LEA BERTRAND has been perfecting her skills in watercolor, pastels and oil painting for several years. Linda began painting to decrease stress as a critical care nurse. Plein air combines being out in nature, painting on location,and capturing the beautiful effects of light as it moves through the landscape.
