Harvest for Hope
Calling on SAS families with home gardens! After watering and weeding this hot summer, now is the time of bounty! If you could spare a few of your home grown goodies we would love to support the Project Hope Food Pantry with a rare and valued commodity; fresh produce.
Every Tuesday morning during the month of September we will be collecting fresh picked vegetables, fruits or herbs. Collection baskets will be located at the school entrance as students are dropped off for the day. Later that morning, student helpers will take our bounty across the street to the food pantry.
We will start collecting on Tuesday Sept 6th after Labor Day break.
If you have any questions or would like to be a member of the SAS Wellness Team please contact Andrea Heffernan at
Watch for the online donation page coming soon for those out of town sponsors!

Subway Lunch Form Update***
Parents, please note there is a mistake on the
Subway
Day forms. The 2016/2017 school year allows for 9
Subway
Days instead of the 8 as calculated on the lower portion of the form. Please be sure to pay for 9 days when turning in your form.
QUOTE OF THE WEEK
'Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like
wrapping a present
and not giving it.'
