Trip report: relaxed coastal swap in Kingsbridge, Devon
"We spent a glorious six nights in Kingsbridge in Helen and Peter's lovely house. We were so lucky that it was mild and sunny for almost the whole trip in December and so we got to bask in the sunshine at some beautiful places such as Bigbury on Sea, Bantham Beach, Thurleston, Salcombe and Dartmouth. The house was easy to slot into even with three kids in tow and we felt cosy and at home from the word go. Helen left some toys, a travel cot and a high chair and wonderful books for the kids. The kids especially loved looking after Archie the cat and gave him a lot of love and cuddles. Helen and Peter stayed at our house over the same period and looked after everything beautifully for us. We had regular text contact and we followed all of Helen's tips religiously and it made for a perfect trip with no time wasting. We had a great family meal at Rockfish in Dartmouth, I cannot rate it highly enough. It was such a fulfilling experience and we hope to swap again in early summer."
