Autumn is Here!
It's the middle of the fall semester, and we hope things are going well. We want you to feel secure academical ly,  socially, financially and every other -ally. If you're struggling in any way, it's not too late to turn it around. You have access to free tutoring, writing assistance, counseling and tons of other resources that can help you make this semester a success. Lafene Health Center has seasonal flu vaccinations available to students, faculty and staff. The Walk-In Flu Clinic will run from Sept. 25 to Dec. 1. Walk in anytime
from 8:30 - 11:30 a.m. or 1 - 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. No appointment
necessary. Please bring your student or staff  ID and insurance information.
The cost is $22 for students and $25 for non-students
Homecoming Festivities
The K-State Alumni Association and Student Homecoming Committee invite Kansas State University students, alumni, faculty, staff, families and friends to join them for events and activities during K-State's 2017 Homecoming week Oct. 15-21. This year's Homecoming theme is Purple Pride Worldwide.
 
Students or student organizations interested in being involved in additional Homecoming week activities should contact the Alumni Association programs department at 785-532-5056.

Become a Resident Assistant
Are you ready to make your mark at K-State? The Department of Housing and Dining Services is currently seeking resident assistants for the 2018-2019 academic year. Resident assistants are student peer leaders who share responsibility for building community and fostering rel ationships within the residence halls and on-campus apartment communities at K-State.

Tower of Terror!
It's almost time for everyone's favorite HDS event: The Tower of Terror! If you can make it through several floors' worth of fright, our hats are off to you. All residents are welcome to this fun, free event at Jardine Apartments. Mark your calendars for Oct. 27, 7 p.m. to 12 a.m.

The Cultivate You program will highlight three principles: wellness, community and sustainability. We want you to become active as the director of your own personal wellness. Now is the time to create good habits and a lifestyle that will cultivate a healthy you for a lifetime.

Thirst is a warning light on your dashboard telling you that your body needs more fluid to perform its everyday functions. We discuss ways to increase your intake of this essential liquid and avoid dehydration. Read more.
