Happy Veterans Day 

Democrats,

Today we honor those who have had the courage to stand up and fight for our country. As Veterans Day comes and goes, let us remember that it is not enough to just say thank you today.  We must say thank you every day with our words and deeds.  We must say thank you by electing those who support veterans programs that ensure that our servicemen and women are taken care of at home as well as overseas.  We must say thank you by lifting up their cause in the State Capitol and in Washington.

We also want to recognize those elected officials that fight for Veterans here at home. Our Democratic elected officials tirelessly champion our Veterans. One in particular deserves special commendation. Representative Eric Proctor, thank you for your work, particularly on Veterans issues.  In addition to his advocacy at the capitol, Rep. Proctor is Chairman of Eastern Oklahoma Honor Flights, a charity that pays tribute to America's heroes by flying them to see the memorials of the respective wars.
