We are pleased to announce Viacom's President and CEO Bob Bakish and Comcast Corporation's Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Diversity Officer David L. Cohen will serve as honorary co-chairs for our 31st Annual NAMIC Conference on Sept. 26-27 at the New York Marriott Marquis.

 
As a Diversity Week anchor event, this year's conference theme, "Diversity at the Speed of Change," is focusing on the rapidly revolutionary and evolutionary communications industry and offering attendees the opportunity to explore diversity and inclusion in this new business landscape.

CBS remains the most-watched network but the least diverse, an issue that TV critics and reporters were not willing to lose sight of during CBS' executive session at the Television Critics Association summer press tour on Tuesday.
Outsports
The NFL today internally announced the launch of an LGBTQ employee affinity group, called NFL Pride. The new organization, which will officially launch Aug. 16, will be used to support LGBTQ employees and advise NFL executives on best practices for engaging on diversity issues.
