Hoosier Park Partners with ICADV
Hoosier Park Racing & Casino in Anderson has identified ICADV as one of twelve charities to benefit from the Celebrity Charity Race Driver events as part of the 2012 Standardbred races this season. Alternatives, Inc., a member program of ICADV has also been selected as one of the 12 charities.
This Saturday, June 2, as part of the Standardbred Races, Hoosier Park Racing & Casino will feature the Dan Patch Invitational as the 12th race of the day with a $200,000 purse.
Other events of the day which will benefit the 12 charities include:
Charity Chariot Rides: Celebrity charity drivers will be present at the Paddock from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. for "Charity Chariot Rides" around the track. The cost for the chariot ride is $20. Proceeds from the rides will go to the designated drivers charity. Brooke Nickells is the celebrity driver who has been partnered with ICADV, therefore, supporters of ICADV should request Brooke as the driver.
Kayak Race: At the end of the Standardbred races, the Celebrity Standardbred drivers representing all twelve charities will go head-to-head in a different kind of race. Each driver will compete in a kayak race across Hoosier Park Racing & Casino's pond. The driver will be able to donate a portion of $5,000 to their selected charity.
