There are rumours going around that our building is to be demolished for the upcoming LRT construction. The LRT construction won't begin until 2027 or 2030 and the building is protected under the Heritage program and therefor will not be demolished. It is business as usual. If you have any concerns or questions please do not hesitate to speak to Natasja directly.

When arriving for your class please make sure you let the receptionist know that you are here. (even when registered online) by giving your first and last name. It is very important that we have you marked into the classes for insurance and tracking purposes.  We are looking into getting iPads put in at the front desk so that you may have the option to do a  self check- in .

Due to the King Street construction along RiverSide park some of you are arriving a few minutes late for class. We do not lock our doors as we realize that unforeseen circumstances can occur. In the event that you are late, please wait until the opening meditation has been completed before entering the studio. Upon entering the studio we ask that you pick a spot at the back of the room and please lay down your mat as quietly as possible. Unzip your yoga mat bag before entering the studio. We really appreciate your co-operation in this so that everyone has an enjoyable and peaceful experience.

AYURVEDIC LIFESTYLE PROGRAM
Saturday, May 27 | 12noon - 3:00pm
by  N A T A S J A  P A Y N E
Learn how to bring MIND-BODY balance, health and nourishment into your life. Optimize your own health & well-being, Ayurveda is the oldest healing modality in the world and is the sister science of yoga. In recent years, more and more physicians are taking notice as the science of Ayurveda is able to give one a deeper understanding of where disease originates in the body. Many doctors are beginning to realize that the "bandaid" solution is no longer working for their patients, they are tired of giving medications to curb the side effets of the medication they prescribed to treat their condition in the first place. Ayurveda is a system that understands that the mind and body are inextricably connected, nothing is more powerful than the mind. The mind has the ability to transform and heal the body. In this workshop we will look at the mind and how they are influenced by the three Gunas of Satva, Rajas and Tamas.  You will be given tools to optimize Satva in your life, you will also learn what your constitution (dosha) is and what you can do to optimize your constitution by making small changes to your diet and lifestyle
