Hannibal Open Tennis Tournament
|
Starts at 5 p.m. Friday at Huckleberry Park and Hannibal Middle School, July 14-16
-- Two divisions for boys and girls, 14 and under; and 18 and under. For the men’s and women’s division, there will be a 3.5 (intermediate) division and a 4.0 (competitive) and above division, based on United States Tennis Association ratings.

Ride Cool at the
Ramp Park
July 15 at at the Ramp Park at Huckleberry Park, sponsored by the Hannibal Parks & Recreation Department and Hannibal Clinic Health Services.
First 200 people will receive a helmet, starting at 10 a.m.
Registration for skateboard, scooter and bike competitions begin at noon. Competitions start at 1 p.m. More information here!

Sodalis Nature Preserve Teacher Workshop

Aug. 1
in Hannibal. Missouri Bat Census Executive Director Kirsten Alvey-Mudd will lead a hike along the 2-mile paved trail identifying educational opportunities, discussing how the bat caves were created and why the area is important to more than 200,000 endangered bats. Registrations are required by contacting Kathi Moore, Missouri Department of Conservation, 573-248-2530.

Huckleberry Park shelter is finished!
The Born Learning Trail is an interactive series of 10 outdoor games around Huckleberry Park playground. There are several new pieces of all-inclusive playground equipment, including two handicap-accessible swings and musical instruments at Huckleberry Park playground.
