I started coming to BHcare about five years ago. My daughter worked for BHcare at the time and convinced me to get help for my depression. I had been depressed for a long time and could not control my moods or aggressive behavior.
Arlene Cardenas, owner of Marjolaine Pastry Shop, will once again be participating in BHcare's Shoreline Event featuring Cupcake War on May 19 at Pine Orchard Yacht & Country Club in Branford.
Our role in Young Adult Services for clients is to try and help them both identify and understand how their experiences have and do impact them, and how to resume the process of recovery and growth that have gotten stalled along the way.
