This Weekend at Hope:
Countdown to Christmas | Coming Soon! | Isaiah 7:13-14
Good Morning Hope!
It's wonderful to be celebrating the birth of a child. It's awe-inspiring to be celebrating the coming of our Savior. This is Advent.
Jesus' mother, Mary, put it this way,
My soul glorifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior,
for he has been mindful of the humble state of his servant.
As we begin Advent this weekend I want to encourage you to make every day count. Imagine what might happen in your life, and in the lives around you, if you spent some time each day with God thinking about our coming Savior the way Mary did.
What if your soul glorified the Lord and your spirit rejoiced in God your Savior , for he has been mindful of your humble state as his servant? What if...
I am very excited to share with you that this weekend at worship you will receive a gift that will help guide you through the best Advent season ever. Our mission as a staff this Advent is to empower, equip, and walk with the congregation into the heart of God's love in the gift of Jesus Christ. You can check out our preview of Christmas at Hope and our Advent project.
Anticipating Christ's love,
Pastor Eric
