This Weekend at Hope:   The Jesus Run | Let's Do Lunch! | Matthew 14:13-21
Dear Hope,

Some call it Spring Break, others March Madness, but March 11 sets in motion the NCAA brackets for men's basketball and the journey from 68 teams to a national champion will all begin March 13. Teams play in single elimination, comebacks are amazing, and it's all left on the court with every game!

Speaking about the greatest comebacks our world has ever known, our sermon series The Jesus Run has been an incredible journey through the Gospel of Matthew. You can't miss the mission Jesus was on while he was on the earth. Finding "Friendly Jesus" and witnessing miracles a few weeks ago with prayers lifted continues to reveal the grace of our Lord.

You have the same opportunity to experience God's grace in worship and sing his praises this weekend. Families, as it is every weekend, you have a choice to worship together or take children to HopeKids . This weekend, we will be showing a kid-friendly movie to give our great volunteers a little rest from a great winter sprint. HopeKids will return to its normal programming next weekend.

As we approach Holy Week and Easter, just three weeks out, we are gearing up for an amazing journey from the cross and death, to an empty tomb, to literally hundreds who gave witness to a risen Lord. Services and Pastor Mike's Easter message "Stand By for the Kick!" are all in the building stages, but I want to encourage you to pray that God will fill our campuses this Easter with the power and message of Christ Jesus.

More details about Holy Week and Easter can be found online, and I will spell out more in next week's e-news.

I'll see you this weekend!

Pastor Pat

P.S. Please make sure to visit our campus calendar for upcoming classes for men, women, and a marriage class planned after Easter.

P.P.S. Remember to "spring forward" and set your clocks ahead this Sunday!

Now through Easter

This Lent we are raising funds for the purchase of a second home for Ruth Harbor! Ruth Harbor provides a Christ-centered home and support for young women (and their babies) who have experienced unplanned pregnancies in our community. It will truly be a home filled with hope, and an opportunity for these families to find community, to receive necessary counseling and create a positive path for the future.
