Hope Weekly
June 29, 2018

This week we begin our next Sermon series as we explore our identity as children of God.
We discover our own identity when we know who Jesus is. In the gospel of John, Jesus offers 7 "I AM" statements that reveal his identity and who we are. With Easter so early this year we didn't have the opportunity to explore these beloved passages in John so during July we will dig into who Jesus is and our own identity.
7/1          I am the bread of life
7/8          I am the light of the world
7/15        I am the gate and the good shepherd
7/22        I am the resurrection and the way, the truth and the life
7/29        I am the true vine
Remember you can listen/watch online if you are not able to worship in person!

LSS Personal Needs Pantry
Lutheran Social Services has taken over Feed Your Neighbor and the Personal Needs Pantry. Many needy folks  need items not covered by food stamps, such as personal  hygiene, toothbrushes and paste, toilet paper, bar soap, shampoo and conditioner, and cleaning supplies.  Grace Lutheran on Monroe Street is one of the pantry churches. There will be a collection box just inside the lounge for your donated items. Please consider purchasing an item or two when doing your weekly shopping.
