You Asked for It
Open Q & A with the Pastors
 Pastor's Preview:
Dear Hope Family,
This weekend at Hope,  you are writing the sermon!
Don't worry, no one will ask you to stand up and preach in front of the whole congregation. However, you will be invited to write down your good questions* about faith and life when you show up for any of our services this weekend. Your questions will be collected and delivered to the preachers (two or three of us will form a panel at each service), and  the whole sermon will be based on those questions.
It's the highly anticipated final sermon in our You Asked For It series! Bring a Bible (or Bible app), your curious friends, and all of the questions you've been wondering about ...
"Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened for you." Matthew 7:7
Mike Housholder
P.S.- It's graduation season, so we'll
honor graduates this weekend at Hope -
all graduates (of any school) will be invited to stand for a blessing & prayer! We'll also recognize and give thanks to God for the hundreds of faithful volunteers in our Youth & Family ministries at Hope!  It's good to be the church ... to worship the Lord, pray, celebrate, learn, and support one another ... together!
*We'll get to as many of your questions as we can during the sermon. Unanswered questions will be grouped by category and addressed in upcoming sermons or publications. Also, please note ... questions that appear to be written with an agenda, divisive spirit, or to stir up controversy, will be politely discarded for biblical reasons (2 Timothy 2:23). ;-) That said, all questions submitted for the sake of seeking spiritual clarity and growth (faith, God, life, church, Bible, etc.) are welcome & encouraged! There are no bad questions, other than the one you don't ask ... good questions lead to good answers, and good answers lead to stronger faith!
