The Stand Up For Pits Foundation is bringing Stand Up For Pits to New York City! Two of Rebecca's biggest passions are comedy and Pibbles and she believes there is no better way to educate and save lives than through laughter. Rebecca's rescued Pibble, Angel, is the inspiration behind this live event and the Stand Up For Pits Foundation. Rebecca and Angel are honored and thrilled to be bringing Stand Up For Pits to the Big Apple and saving lives with my East Coast Pibble lovers. This is going to be an amazing night and the Stand Up For Pits Foundation is proud to announce Second Chance Rescue will be benefitting from the evening, doing the silent auction and have adoptable Pibbles available for adoption from 4p-7p! North Shore Horse Rescue is holding our volunteer orientation on Saturday April 26th from 11-3 pm. This day is also recognized as the ASPCA's Horse Rescue Day in which we will be giving tours to the public on our farm. Join us for the 2014 NY Pet Super Adoption, a cooperative effort where shelters and rescue groups come together in a free, fun, festival-like atmosphere to find homes for hundreds of animals during one exciting weekend. It's a fun way to meet a huge variety of adoptable animals in a celebratory setting. About 700 adoptable animals from 30 shelters and rescue groups are expected at this free event. Adoption fees start at $50 and include spay/neuter, vaccinations, and an adoption starter kit. For more info click here.

Adrienne is a petite, energetic & special girl. She is hard of hearing, yet very smart and knows her commands through sign language! This bright, social girl is just under 2 years old and has loads of potential. Adrienne has been here for a long time waiting her turn for that special someone out there.
