Rev. Phil Blackwell was a guest on the Mitch Henck radio program Wednesday, February 17.  Pastor Phil discussed the theme of our Lenten Study related to issues of race in our city and beyond.
FUMC Host Site for Immigration Rally

First Church, together with the Wisconsin United Methodist Immigration Task Force, a founding member of WNIRR (WI Network for Immigrant & Refugee Rights), hosted groups that were downtown for today's "Día sin Latinos" (Day without Latinos).

Biblical Resurrection Stories: A Lenten Study

Rev. Jim Scorgie will lead a six session class on the resurrection accounts found in scripture. These texts are both difficult and significant for the modern world and one's faith journey. It may be helpful bring your own bible for making notes.
