Dear Friends,

  

Tomorrow, we will celebrate San Jacinto Day. It was on that day last year that I took the oath of office to serve the citizens of Harris County and the great state of Texas as Judge of the 334th Civil District Court. I thank you for the enthusiasm with which you welcomed my return to the courthouse.

  

Throughout the past year, I have worked to live up to the commitment I made to fairness, courtesy, and above all, justice. At the end of last year, the District Judges of Harris County unanimously elected me Harris County Administrative Judge. I was grateful for the support of my colleagues in this leadership role.

  

I believe that public service is a privilege and I never take it for granted. I want to continue serving. I will be the Republican nominee and I do have an opponent in the November election.

  

Will you help me prepare for the fall campaign? I ask you to consider being a host at my fundraiser on Tuesday, June 5 at Grappino di Nino, 2817 West Dallas, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The following levels are available for Host Committee members: Underwriter $5000, Patron $2500, Host $1000 and Sponsor $500. To have your name included on the invitation, please respond with your Host Committee commitment by Tuesday, May 1.
