Division of Continuing Education & Workforce Development Opens its New Home in the Bronx Terminal Market
Eugenio María de Hostos Community College knows how important it is for individuals to have the skills to do the job. A skilled and educated community is a successful community, one that generates a positive chain reaction economically and socially, from generation to generation.
With this in mind, Hostos will open the new Center for Workforce Development & Continuing Education in the former Bronx Terminal Market Building located at 560 Exterior Street (where East 149th Street intersects with River Avenue) to join forces with community leaders and employers throughout New York City.

Hostos Caimans Men's and Women's Basketball Teams to Start Season
by Thanking Veterans
On Tuesday, November 6, immediately before the home openers of the 2012-13 season against Rockland Community College, the Hostos Community College Caimans men's and women's basketball teams will be honoring some special people in a special way.
The Hostos Athletic Department, along with the Hostos Office of Veterans Affairs, will join Caiman fans, faculty, and staff members not only to greet the teams, but also to salute the men and women in the Hostos family who have served or are now serving in the Armed Forces. This is the fourth year that the ceremony will coincide with the games. It is Hostos' way of saluting Veterans Day, which is observed throughout the nation on November 11.
