Join Buffalo Bayou Partnership and Bayou City Outdoors for a batty good time! The ride will start at Market Square Park and continue to the Waugh Bridge to watch the Mexican free-tail bats depart for their sunset flight. Volunteers from the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department will be on-hand to tell you more about these important creatures. Afterwards, the ride will head back downtown to Niko Niko's for a brew and some fun. Helmets are required for this ride. (BCO will provide you with a helmet if you do not have one) There is a $10 fee for non-Bayou City Outdoor members.

41st Annual Moonlight Ramble

Since 1973, thousands of riders have lit up the streets of Houston for this amazing fully-supported bicycle ride. Starting from the George R Brown Convention Center in downtown Houston at 11:59 p.m. the ramble will have an 8-mile and 20-mile route. Prizes will be awarded for best costume and best lighted bike. All riders are required to wear a bicycle helmet and have lights on their bikes. To register and learn more click here! Important B-cycle Information: The GRB, LaBranch & Lamar, McKinney & Caroline & Rusk/St. Emanuel B-stations will be available to check out B-cycles for use in the Moonlight Ramble on October 26th. Please park by the station you will be checking your bike out from to alleviate any parking congestion. Depending on your route choice, the ride will take between an hour and a half and three hours. HTX Bike Fest- Market Square Park
November 16, 2013 from 10:00 am- 6:00 pm

In collaboration with The Downtown District and Hosted by Black Gold Cycling, The Byke Project, and Neue Creative, this festival is designed to bring cyclists and bike enthusiasts from all over the city to one place for one day.
The festival will boast a huge all day swap meet and over 50 different bike industry vendors. This year's festival will include a variety of demos from various bike sports such as bike polo, bmx/fixed gear freestyle, various cycling contests, a huge obstacle race course, and sprint contests hosted by Texas Gold Sprint'em. The festival will be FREE to the public and the Bike Fest will be working to raise funds through this event to help a local dog charity named Barrio Dogs.
Houston B-cycle will be sponsoring the HTX Bike Fest photo booth this year set-up by our Market Square Park station! Additional bike parking will be made available should the station become full!
