A few more plants need to be planted and there's plenty of weeds to pull. Gloves and tools provided. Bring water and sunscreen.

Friday 9/8 Final RiverMusic of the Season
It's been a wonderful year for our summer concert series. Thank you to everyone who came to lend a hand, and to all of you who stuck with us through the changes!

We still need volunteers to help us manage the parking for the last event of the season, so if you're organized and like over the top hand gestures then we'd love your help.

For everyone else we hope that you'll come enjoy the event and shake your booty to some great music.
Event is at Salvage Station

There will also be a shuttle running from the property across from Cotton Mill Studios

Saturday 9/9 Big Sweep River Cleanup
Join us for the 30th annual WNC Big Sweep River Cleanup. Volunteer for the region's largest (single day) river, stream and roadside cleanup. RiverLink, Asheville GreenWorks, Mountain True and our partners will provide dozen's of boats.

If you have your own boat, please consider bringing it along for the cleanup. We will be taking on 25 + miles of river in teams, then meeting back up for a riverside after party.

Please register to hold your spot. Shuttles will be provided to move you around to the cleanup areas. We will provide dozens of canoes, kayaks and rafts, but space is limited.
We'll start the day at Westfledt River Park (83 Old Fanning Bridge Road, Fletcher NC) and shuttle people to other sections from there.

10 AM - Get on the water
1 PM - Cleanup concludes, volunteers are shuttled back to Westfeldt River Park

Wednesday 9/20 Craven St Bridge Cleanup
Major progress has been made around Craven Street for the RAD redevelopment. However, there's a spot under the bridge that is falling behind. We are going to have a volunteer service day to clean this up.

If you would like to be a part of this large scale revitalization of the Craven St area then this is a great event to come lend a hand with.
We'll meet at the new Craven St dock located at 197 Riverside Dr. Asheville, NC
Wednesday September 20th
10 AM - 12 PM
West AVL Park Creek Clearing
West Asheville Park is a lovely community park which is home to the beautiful Rhododendron Creek. Recently quite a few trees and fallen limbs have started to block the flow of water. This increases the chance of flooding for the park and surrounding neighborhoods.

Come join us as we haul, cut and chainsaw our way through these log jams and watch as the water flows freely again.
Friday September 29th
10 AM - 12 PM
