SPACEWORKS TACOMA
CULTIVATING CREATIVE COMMUNITIES
Spaceworks Tacoma was launched in 2010 as a joint initiative of the City of Tacoma and the Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber to approach community transformation and small business development in a new way.

Spaceworks makes Tacoma culturally vibrant and economically strong through training and support for artists and creative entrepreneurs. Some of their programs of work include artscapes , business incubator program , and coworking spaces at 1120 Downtown and 1120 Hilltop.

Through special projects, Spaceworks provides opportunities to artists and creative entrepreneurs to produce unique, short-term events and installations in unique spaces around Tacoma.

Engage with this dynamic team while creating economic development through cultural development.

TECH GROWTH LEADS TO INDUSTRY CHANGE
Technology, based in innovation and entrepreneurship, has championed challenging convention by creating something new for a long time.

With recent developments on both the national and global stage, tech companies must be prepared for a new business climate, infused with regulation and politics.

EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES AND INNOVATION LIABILITY
America’s thriving technology sector is leading the world in innovation, but emerging technologies face challenging legal hurdles. Reactionary regulations and new avenues for litigation can do potential long-term damage to businesses and the economy.

Join the Institute for Legal Reform (ILR) and the U.S. Chamber Technology Engagement Center (C_TEC) TOMORROW in Seattle as we explore emerging technologies and the impact of liability issues on innovation.
